They are becoming a popular Christmas tree in the Portland area, and seem to grow here quite well. They make very nice Christmas trees.Ken Dennistonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02260273693541192370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1053137314962551000.post-85807938828790346632017-12-09T12:34:10.135-08:002017-12-09T12:34:10.135-08:00I always enjoy reading your posts because it round...I always enjoy reading your posts because it rounds out my understanding. I was browsing a London Telegraph article on "Ultimate Guide to Having the Perfect Christmas Tree" and noticed the recommendation of Nordmann fir tree(Abies nordmanniana). I saw these in the Caucasus when I was there with Teachers for Global Classrooms and am wondering if there any nifty examples in the arboretum? They were very affected by alpine limitations when I saw them in Georgia.Teacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01231827840771305895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1053137314962551000.post-51596036081621657232017-11-29T16:54:17.914-08:002017-11-29T16:54:17.914-08:00Interesting post Ken!
